To bring the healing magic and tranquility of Africa to the world

“Why is it you can never hope to describe the emotion Africa creates? You are lifted. Out of whatever pit, unbound from whatever tie, released from whatever fear. You are lifted and you see it all from above.”
Francesca Marciano
For over 15 years, the 'bush' (what we call "safari" in Africa)—has been my sanctuary, a place where the chaos of modern life gives way to peace and restoration. Even while living abroad for much of the last decade, I made it a mission to bring friends and colleagues back to Africa to experience this extraordinary natural oasis of rejuvenation and wellness. What struck me after a few trips was the profound impact these journeys had on people. It started with the awe in their eyes as they witnessed wildlife in its raw, untamed beauty for the first time. Around the crackling Boma fire, even the most reserved guests began to open up, sharing deeply personal stories and new perspectives. By the end of their stay, they would often describe an overwhelming sense of calm—a feeling of being truly alive and at peace. This transformative process; shall we call it “bush therapy,” inspired me to create Africovery —not just another safari company, but a vehicle for transformation, growth, and inspiration for those ready to explore both the world around them and the world within. Safari means 'to journey' in Swahili, and our goal at Africovery is to help craft unique and purposeful journeys; one that uplifts your spirit, inspires your soul, and leaves you forever changed. To call Africa home is an incredible honour and privilege, and I can’t wait to share its magic with you.
